Alexandra Cooper was born on August 21st, 1994 in Newtown, Pennsylvania, to Bryan and Laurie Cooper. Her father played hockey at University of Wisconsin. Boston University noticed Cooper's athleticism. They offered sporting scholarship. Cooper was offered a sports scholarship through Boston University and accepted it. She played for the Division-1 Women's Soccer team during her time at Boston University during her four year degree. When she was in her senior year she played co-captain. Cooper led her team to four M.C.T. In all four of her seasons, she won Prep A and won the honor of the All-Prep First Team. Cooper also won All-Prep First Team and All-Area First Team honors as a senior and junior. Cooper excelled in other areas as well. When she was in college Cooper was interested in media and also the entertainment industry. This was when she took the choice to enter the field. She earned her diploma in film and television from Boston University.
