Suzy Kolber's parents were Jewish. The birth of Suzanne Lisa Kolber May 14 1964, at Philadelphia Pennsylvania. The age she is now is at 58. Sandra Kolber was her mother as was Gene Kolber was her father. Her graduation was in 1982 at Upper Dublin High School and Sandy Run Middle School. She earned an Associate of Arts Degree in telecommunications in 1986 from University of Miami. While still a student at undergraduate level, she landed a position as the sports director at Dynamic Cable Coral Gables Florida. In addition, she was employed by Dynamic Cable between 1984 and 1986 for a total of two year. The time she was employed she was also a member of the University of Miami's water-ski team. When she moved to New York City, Plaza attended the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and attended an improv course within The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. In 2006, she graduated with a degree in film and television production. At age 20 she suffered an injury to her brain that resulted in an acute expressive aphasia (a defect in the expression and comprehension of language).
